National homebuilder enlists young social media sensation from Knoxville, Tenn., to promote sale

MARYVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Clayton Homes, one of the largest builders of manufactured, modular and site-built homes in America, announced today the launch of its year-end clearance retail event, "Bust a Move."

The sale, which will run through the end of 2016, provides homebuyers the opportunity to purchase select new Clayton homes at the lowest-prices of the year. * The year-end promotion will be supported by a national television ad campaign featuring internet dancing sensation Charlie Stone of Knoxville, Tenn.

"If you've been waiting for the right time to purchase a home, it's now," Clayton CEO Kevin Clayton said. "Through the end of the year, homebuyers can save thousands of dollars on select new homes."

Clayton Homes chose 10-year-old Stone to be part of its television commercial promoting the "Bust a Move" clearance event. Stone first gained internet fame after a social media video of him expertly mimicking a Patrick Swayze dance routine went viral. Stone's incredible dance moves even earned him an appearance on the TODAY Show. Now, he'll be showcasing his rhythm in this newest Clayton Homes television ad.

"Charlie is a blast to watch in the Bust a Move commercial. He really rips it up across those moving boxes. Clayton Homes is fortunate to help an estimated 40,000 families move to a new home this year."
