Clayton Homes Celebrates the Opening of its Newest California Store Location

Clayton Homes of Oroville offering fire victims up to $15,000* toward new off-site built home

June 26, 2019

OROVILLE, Calif., June 26, 2019 - Clayton Homes celebrated the grand opening of its newest home center in California today during a ribbon cutting event in Oroville, Calif. Clayton Homes of Oroville expands the off-site home builder’s presence in Northern California, which currently has three other home center locations in the Sacramento area.

“At Clayton, we believe everyone deserves access to quality, attainable homes,” said Dustin Youngdahl, Clayton Homes of Orville’s General Manager. “We are excited to open a new location in Oroville to provide more families access to affordable homeownership, especially in California where there are less available housing options.”

Youngdahl and his family have been working in the manufactured housing industry for many years at multiple Clayton home centers in Northern California. He plans to deliver the same quality of customer service and home buying experience to the community of Oroville.

“In addition to opening the new home center, we are offering up to $15,000* in incentives toward a new Clayton BuiltÒ home to all Californians who tragically lost their homes in recent wild fires,” Youngdahl said. “We understand the impacted residents in and around Oroville love their communities and want to move back home as soon as possible. We are excited to provide an opportunity for them to own a beautiful, new home and stay in the area they love.”

The grand opening ceremonies featured remarks by Jess Maxcy, president of the California Manufactured Housing Institute. “Homeownership is getting harder to attain and is a focus of Governor Gavin Newson’s California For All program,” said Maxcy. “Off-site built homes provide an innovative, affordable solution and opening the new Clayton home center here in Oroville will provide the dream of homeownership to more families.”

Clayton Homes of Oroville features five display home models for touring. Interested home buyers can browse homes and learn more at http://www.claytonhomesoroville.com.

Only available from Clayton Homes Of Oroville (“Seller”) for the purchase of a new home with a sales agreement that is signed July 26, 2019 through December 30, 2019. Buyer must present proof that current home was owned by buyer and was a total loss from a natural disaster. Date of loss on an insurance carrier’s verification of total loss (or letter from FEMA) must match the date of the natural disaster. Buyer may select one or more buyer incentives in the following maximum amounts: $5,000 with the purchase of a single-section home, $10,000 with the purchase of a double-section home and $15,000 with the purchase of a triple-section home (the “Incentive”). Home must be purchased at the posted home only retail sales price to be eligible for the maximum available Incentive. Total value of buyer Incentive not to exceed $15,000. Buyer Incentive will be applied by the Seller, at buyer’s choice, to one or any combination of the following two forms; (i) Seller paid closing costs (excluding Seller paid discount points that are not required by a lender); or (ii) a reduction in the total sales price of the home package, consisting of the home purchased plus all other items included in the sale (collectively the “Incentive Options”). If the posted home only retail sales price of the home is reduced by the Seller either through negotiation with the buyer, or as a result of the underwriting requirements of the lender selected by the buyer, or if the Seller is required by the lender selected by the buyer to pay discount points or any other fees and charges, the Incentive will be applied first to the amount of the negotiated or lender required reduction of the home sales price (Incentive Option (ii)) and then to the lender required Seller paid discount points, fees and charges. Any remaining Incentive will be applied at buyer’s choice to one or both of the Incentive Options. Under no circumstances will any portion of the buyer Incentive be applied toward buyer’s down payment if buyer obtains financing for the home purchase from any lender of buyer’s choice. Buyer will be solely responsible for paying the entire amount of any down payment. Buyer may not combine the Program with any other offer or new home sales program offered by Seller. Program may not be available with USDA/FHA/VA financing, and may be subject to certain lender requirements that restrict the forms of buyer incentives that Seller can provide. Void where prohibited, but only to the extent prohibited.
